The story behind the lens
I grew up in Venezuela, where life taught me early that the most important things — family, connection, community — don't last forever unless you capture them. I carried that lesson when I built my life in Austin, Texas.
My background is in computer engineering, which means I approach photography with precision and intention. But unlike code, people can't be debugged — and that's exactly what I love about photographing them.
I'm drawn to spontaneous moments. The laugh that wasn't planned. The glance between a father and his daughter. The split second an athlete defies gravity. Those are the frames I live for.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm riding motorcycles through Texas, training taekwondo, or chasing my 4-year-old around the backyard with our dog.
